Marry Me Live was founded in 2009 by Chris Anderson and Stacy Yamaoka. Each of them had personal wedding experiences with their immediate family. They saw first hand how disappointing it was for the bride and groom to have family or friends miss the wedding. They vowed to find a solution.
Chris and Stacy live video streamed their first wedding in Honolulu, Hawaii in August 2009. They immediately saw the value and joy it brought to the wedding. Realizing that there is a significant need for wedding webcasting, Chris and Stacy started Marry Me Live.
Marry Me Live is quickly expanding to become the premier wedding technology and webcasting company offering a simple but elegant online wedding experience. Family and friends can watch the live wedding video and leave well wishes to the wedding couple through an online virtual guest book. Marry Me Live works with only the best video partners across the country to train them on streaming media technology providing the wedding family with a seamless experience. Marry Me Live is first and foremost a people company, addressing the needs of so many families with loved ones spread across the globe.

In 2010, Marry Me Live donated their live wedding webcasting services to Wish Upon a Wedding, SF Dream Wedding Giveaway, and DC Green Wedding Giveaway. In addition, Marry Me Live has live streamed weddings in Hawaii, San Francisco, Berkeley, Los Angeles, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC.
